Overview: Work on data science and AI projects associated with several large-scale science projects at the laboratory. Successful participation in these projects will involve collaboration with science teams in collider, neutrino, and cosmological physics, as well as with research partners in computer science, electrical and computer engineering, and mathematics. Associates will build strong portfolios of work demonstrating capabilities in AI and data science for large scale physics projects. The appointment will be for a one-year term with the potential of an extension thereafter.

Position: Audio Visual Conferencing Technician

Overview: Working with the Fermilab user community, you will provide technical assistance and support for audio video conferencing. Additional responsibilities include account provisioning, hardware configuration, inventory management, AV system support and special project support as needed. This role will be mainly passionate about handling the centralized web infrastructure. The operating environment consists of 500+ websites hosted on Apache httpd using WordPress, Apache Tomcat, Payara, MediaWiki, and other hosting platforms to convey the content to the internet.

This position will interact with representatives from both the Cybersecurity Operations Group and the Scientific Computing Division to ensure scientific computing and cybersecurity needs and requirements are met in a collaborative environment.
