Scientific Interest
My scientific career has primarily been in the field of collider physics. I have been a member of the CDF collaboration since 2003 and of the CMS collaboration since 2014.
My recent physics interests have been in searching for evidence of dark matter production in LHC collisions with the CMS detector. My group has explored possible dark matter signatures, including those with long-lived particles, in Run 2 data and are focusing on long-lived particle signatures for Run 3 of the LHC. Previously, on the CDF experiment, I led measurements of the W boson mass and top quark mass, and was involved in the search for the Higgs boson.
In the Computational Science and AI Directorate, my recent focus has been on data storage and management. Prior to that, I worked on the Open Science Grid and on long-term scientific data preservation.
