The World Wide Web at Fermilab
Use of the Web and publishing on the Web are covered by the Fermilab Policy on Computing. The Fermilab Web pages can be thought of as being made up of two parts: the" Extranet" or public pages at the "top" of our tree: http://www.fnal.gov/ and our "Intranet" starting at Fermilab-at-Work. The main purpose of our public web pages is to educate and stimulate interest in science in general and the research being performed here. The Fermilab "Intranet" web pages are used to foster information dissemination and communication among the staff and experimenters. Many people associated with Fermilb set the Fermilab-at-Work page as their browser "home." Fermilab employees and users will also find Internet/Web resources outside the laboratory to aid in their work. It is appropriate and encouraged to utilize these resources for professional purposes.
