Microsoft Training Vouchers

As a benefit of the Microsoft Enterprise Agreement (EA), Microsoft provides a combination of benefits that include new version rights, the Employee Purchase Program (EPP), Home Use Program (HUP) and more.
Another benefit of the Enterprise Agreement (EA) is Microsoft Training Vouchers. The training is conducted by instructor-led training at any one of over 1,000 Microsoft Certified Technical Education Centers (Microsoft CTECs) worldwide. The training includes Microsoft operating systems, enterprise-ready applications, and software development tools.
Prcedure to Redeem a Training Voucher
By entering into the Enterprise Agreement (EA) Fermilab has earned credits towards technical training from Microsoft. Each training credit can be redeemed for one free day of training at a participating Microsoft CTEC.
Credits are issued to you by your Software Assurance benefit coordinator in the form of an e-mail voucher and can be applied to any Official Microsoft Learning Product that Microsoft offers worldwide in a classroom environment through a Microsoft CTEC.
- To redeem your benefits, log a ticket with the helpdesk to request training voucher benefits. This form will go to the Software Assurance benefit coordinator. Trainee receives e-mail. See Training Voucher Detail E-mail for the full text of the e-mail.
- Trainee looks up course
- Trainee calls Microsoft (CTEC) and reserves a seat in the course.
- Microsoft CTEC reserves the course and updates the voucher status to Reserved.
- Trainee attends course.
- Microsoft CTEC updates voucher to Redeemed status.
- Microsoft CTEC receives payment for the voucher and sets the status to Paid.
Guidelines
- Once a voucher is created, it is valid for 180 days (approximately 6 months). If the voucher is not used in that time period (and is not revoked or canceled), the training days are returned to the pool as long as the agreement has not expired.
- If the course is longer than the Voucher Days, payment will be necessary for the trainee to take the course. Contact the Microsoft CTEC to handle payment details for the additional course days.
- If the course is shorter than the Voucher Days, the remaining days will be added back into the Total Days Available for Assignment when the voucher has a status of Paid.

To take advantage of this offer, all you need to do is to present the Voucher ID below to a participating Microsoft CTEC of your choice along with your corporate e-mail address (for authentication purposes only). These details are provided below:
