Request Form for AFS Space

AFS is a Global File System operated by the Computing Division for the laboratory. Since it is a managed facility it is necessary for us to understand the requirements on its resources. Requests to use the AFS services at Fermilab must include information about the proposed computing project. This form only needs be filled out once for a group of people working on a project. Small projects may qualify under the "Non-Grant Usage" guidelines.

If your request is for more than 8GB of total AFS space, please note in "Additional Instructions" below how you would like the AFS area to be distributed. If one requires more than 500MB of home space, request for personal project space and have it mounted under your home area.
