 Experiment Computer Accounts

We have asked several of the experiments to provide a link to the appropriate page for requesting computer accounts on experiment-specific computers. Links are provided where available.

CDF	D0	FOCUS (use FNALU)	MiniBooNE (use FNALU)
MIPP	NUMI/Minos (use FNALU)	US-CMS

 

FNALU (General Purpose, Centrally-Supported UNIX Cluster)

• Oracle Individual Account for accessing Oracle databases on FNALU - submit a Service Desk ticket
• Oracle Project Request to create an Oracle database on FNALU - submit a Service Desk ticket

Miscellaneous

• Mail List Request - Request a mailing list to be created on the Fermilab mail server.
• Mail List Archive Request - Request a mailing list on the Fermilab mail server to be archived.
• PREP Online Equipment Request Form - Physics Research Equipment Pool loans and information on equipment.
• System Administrator Registration - required for all systems as per the Fermilab Policy on Computing
• Abbreviated Implementation Plan Format - for PCs and Workstations < $25K.

 

Networking

• Node or Alias Registration- To register a computer on the network and to update information about an existing computer. Also use this form to get an alias (second name) for a computer. This alias can be used among other ways as a web server name.
• VPN Account  - There is no longer a VPN account request form; if you have a Services Account, you have VPN access. You will need Cisco AnyConnect VPN Client software to connect to the Fermilab VPN system. If you need assistance, please contact the Service Desk.
