Computing Division Purchase Requisition System Upgrade
Over the weekend of March 1-2, 2008, the Computing Division Miser Electronic Requisitioning system will get a facelift. We have been testing the new application during the past month, and appreciation goes to all of those employees who provided very valuable feedback during the testing phase. We are finishing up with the new documentation, but it will probably not be fully in place for several weeks. However, we believe that the new input screens are very user friendly and that most all questions will be easily answered.
As of Monday morning, March 3rd, the new URL for Miser will be:
A redirect from the OLD miser link to the NEW miser link will be put into place Friday afternoon Feb 29; but the new link will not work until sometime on Saturday and will not be supported until Monday morning March 3.
The new miser will no longer need a miser username and password. Instead, you will need to present valid web certificates, either your KCA certificate or a registered DOE Grid Certificate (just as are required for the leave request system).
Information on obtaining web certificates can be found here.
