Our mission is to provide the framework, tools, and support necessary to improve project execution and operational effectiveness within the Computing Division in a quantifiable manner.

Our Vision towards Project Management
The Computing Division undertakes a large number or projects, ranging from short-term, low-cost projects to multi-million dollar projects involving many stakeholders. We believe in completing projects on time and within budget, by applying project management practices and principles at a level that facilitates successful completion without excessive burden and overhead. Our vision is to put into place a Project Management Program that helps project managers to more effectively plan and manage their projects, and measure their results.

Our Vision towards Quality Assurance
The Computing Division provides a number or products and services to Fermilab and the broader scientific community. We take great pride in our work and constantly strive to meet or beat expectations. We believe in the spirit of continuous improvement, and that measuring our performance is necessary to quantify results and identify where we can make improvements to take our performance to the next level. Our vision is to implement the Fermilab Quality Assurance Program in a manner that ensures that we have a place in the planning, organization, and controls necessary to achieve consistently high quality results.
