Core Networking and Computer Security

Mission Statement

Core Networking Services works with the lab community to design an infrastructure that meets the varying levels of access requirements. We install and manage that core infrastructure, maintaining reliable capacity well ahead of current use and projected near term requirements. We provide technical solutions for the dynamic requirements of the scientific and support programs.

The Computer Security Group participates in the formulation of the labwide computer security policy. We implement and maintain both the technical requirements and life cycle processes to administer the laboratory's computer security program and provide the Fermilab community with technical expertise and up-to-date information and resources for improving computer security.
