Communications and Outreach

Mission

The Communications and Outreach team provides support for the communication and outreach activities for the Computing Division. The mission includes: librarianship of the CD document repository, the internal CD newsletter "CD Tracks", Computing Division web pages, lobby display, outreach activities including the Super Computing Conference exhibit and OSG support and communications activities, working with division management on the definition and execution of a Communication Plan, and on request, providing communications as embedded members of activities or projects within the division.

We provide support in the following areas:

• Coordinate the web presence of the Computing Division and maintain CD web pages.
• Edit and publish the monthly division newsletter "CD Tracks".
• Support document repositories.
• Support the Computing Division's annual SuperComputing conference exhibit.
• Support the content of the Lobby display area.
• Definition and execution of the CD's Communication Plan.
• Communications for specific activities or projects within the division, on request of the activity leads. For FY10 this includes components of the ISO20K project.
