• Much of his talk covered what was said in "Xen: Success Stories" only more elegantly expressed
• Some good ideas
  • Grid Computing - Download the whole OS and run it as the job
  • Development - Keep your development machine pristine, by only running it when needed.  Or just have a fresh image for each time you build.
    

Enabling Media for Linux Desktop - Helix Banshee

• Nice integration, but have to get the codecs from somewhere else
• Rhapsody 25 (www.rhapsody.com) works on linux because it's all web based

Xen: Success Stories

• Wasn't really about success stories, but a very good overview of where virtulization is now and where it's going
• Explanation about Xen Source working with Microsoft
• Good over view about the hypovisor, versus the current VMWare
