Virus Information
At Fermilab, the email gateway scans all email for virus infected attachments.
After it is scanned on the gateway, the site-wide POP and IMAP servers scan
email attachments destined for them. To learn more about the FNAL virus scanning

Statistics are gathered and recorded on all the viruses found. To view charts
with this information, see our Virus Stats web page.
In order to help protect yourself against worms and
viruses, there are some settings which you should check if you use Internet
