Server Side Filtering

The new IMAP servers support server side filtering. You can configure your filters in the "Options" page of the web interface.

Everyone on the IMAP servers gets a rule that moves spam-tagged mail to a folder called "Tagged Spam". You can delete this rule if you like, but please don't try to edit it via the web interface as the web interface is only capable of manipulating rules based on Sender, Recipient, Subject, or message size.

To create a new filter:

1. Log in to the web interface on the imapserver.
2. Click on Options on the menu bar.
3. Click on Mail Filters on the left side menu.
4. Click on New...
1. Enter a Filter Name
2. Select the button to "Match (any or all) of the following conditions".
3. Select the button to filter on either Sender, Recipient, or Subject and enter a search string.
4. Select a checkbox to Move the message to a selected folder, or Forward the message, or Discard it.
5. Click Save when finished.
