For new on-site employees, contractors and visitors:

• Request Form for Computing Username and Primary Accounts* - Fermilab Email account, Kerberos principal, CRYPTOCard, IMAP server account, and FNALU account
  

• Request Additional Kerberos Items - CRYPTOCard, Host and FTP principals, Special principal instances
  
  

 

For new or renewing off-site users (For contractors etc.):

• Application to Use Fermilab Computers from Off-Site (for Non-Fermilab-Employees)

 

 For returning on-site employees, contractors and visitors:

• Form for REACTIVATING Primary Accounts and/or Kerberos Principal

Experiment Computer Accounts

We have asked several of the experiments to provide a link to the appropriate page for requesting computer accounts on experiment-specific computers. Links are provided where available.

FNALU (General Purpose, Centrally-Supported UNIX Cluster)

• Request Form for Computing Username and Primary Accounts - includes FNALU Non-Grant Use
• AFS Space Request Form
• Oracle Individual Account for accessing Oracle databases on fnalu - Use HelpDesk
• Oracle Project Request to create an Oracle database on fnalu - Use HelpDesk

Miscellaneous

• Mail List Request - Request a mailing list to be created on the Fermilab mail server.
• Mail List Archive Request - Request a mailing list on the Fermilab mail server to be archived.
• PREP Equipment Request - Physics Research Equipment Pool loans and information on equipment.

• STKEN Mass Storage Request Form - for scientific data storage
• System Administrator Registration - required for all systems as per the Fermilab Policy on Computing
• Abbreviated Implementation Plan Format - for PCs and Workstations < $25K.

 

Networking

• Node or Alias Registration- To register a computer on the network and to update information about an existing computer. Also use this form to get an alias (second name) for a computer. This alias can be used among other ways as a web server name.
• VPN Account Request- Get more information about downloading and activating your VPN client here.

 

UNIX Software

• FNALU Product Volume Request Form - For making your product available in AFS space.
• Product Distribution Request (UPD) - To gain access to the central Fermilab UNIX software distribution platform.
• Proprietary Software Request - To gain access to specific proprietary UNIX software products.

 

Web

• Your Options for Web Publishing at Fermilab- Please read this before submitting a web directory or server reqest form!
• Increase Web Disk Space Request - Request more disk space for an existing central web server or directory.
• Web Directory Request - Request a new directory on an existing central web server.
  (i.e., conferences.fnal.gov, projects.fnal.gov, computing.fnal.gov, www-orgs.fnal.gov)
• Web Server Request - Request a new web server on a central machine for an experiment or group.
